Pope House Museum

An awareness and education booklet designed to support the campaign to preserve and restore the historic Dr. M. T. Pope House, a modest 1901 residence tucked within downtown Raleigh’s modern skyline. A unique brass stud binding was used to pay homage to the gas lantern fixtures found in the house and French fold pages revealed hidden wallcovering patterns found in the home. Using curated artifact images, architectural inspiration, historical context and educational data, it serves as both a learning tool and a call to action, rallying public support for the preservation of this rare and significant piece African American heritage
